After worshiping Cho’s feet Ginny woke up, and she took a shower, ate her breakfast and went for potion’s class, in which she learnt how to cook the obcessivus potion, which was a potion capable of making someone obsessed about something for the rest of their lives, the reason this potion was rarely used was because it was illegal and the ingredients were too hard to find, only the potions teachers knew where to get them and the school only taught their students how to cook them for educational purposes, the lesson was theoretical because he ingredients to make it were rare and illegal.
After class, while all the students left the class Lavender Brown talked to professor Snape, and Ginny knew that there was something wrong it looked suspicious because Lavender was usually the first to leave and today she remained in class, so Ginny used one of those magical ears from her brother Fred to eavesdrop, and she didn’t like what she was hearing, Professor Snape was telling her that he had all the ingredients to make the potion in his cabinet.
“Why would professor Snape tell her such a thing?” Ginny questioned herself, while she got the ear back on her pocket and stopped eavesdropping.
“Could he be telling the truth?” Ginny asked herself, while she saw Lavender leave the room
“Hi Ginny, tell your brother that I’ll be waiting for him tomorrow in the three broomsticks at 16:00 am.”Lavender said as she strode down the hall.

“So that’s what your planning… but there is no way I will let you do what you have in mind.” Ginny thought, while she headed to the three broomsticks where she meant to meet Harry, they had a date.
Ginny didn’t mention a word with Harry about the theory she had about what Lavender intended to do to Ron, she wanted her date with Harry to be special and she didn’t want to put more problems in his head, she personally wanted to deal with it herself.
After their date Ginny went back to the castle and started making all the arrangements she needed for her plan to work, than she fell asleep, she needed to rest because the slightest mistake in her plan was dangerous.
At 15:00 Lavender was waiting impatiently for Ron to arrive at the three broomsticks, by slipping a few drops of veritaserum into Snape’s drink which wasn’t easy to accomplish she made him tell her where she could get the ingredients to cook the obcessivus potion, than she stole them from his cabinet and prepped the potion, which she wanted Ron to drink, while she waited she looked around the bar to see if she recognized any familiar face, and she saw Ginny Weasley sitting there all by herself so she decided to approach her.
“Hi Ginny, what are you doing here by yourself?” Lavender asked.
“I’m waiting for Harry.” Ginny replied.
“Oh, I see… Did you tell Ron to meet me here?” Lavender asked.
“Yeah, he was getting all dressed up, he even asked me for some advice on what to wear.” Ginny replied.
“Really?” Lavender asked surprised.
“Yeah! You know men, when they have a date with a girl they find attractive they can take more time than us girls to get ready for a date.” Ginny replied.
“Yeah! So while our dates don’t arrive, let’s have something to drink” said Lavender.
“Bring a jug of Butter bear please!” Ginny told the waitress.
“You like butter beer don’t you?” Ginny asked Lavender, and Lavender nodded in approval, and the waitress placed the jug on the table.
Yesterday Ginny had asked Jane who was a friend of hers who worked at the bar to serve them that exact jug of Butter beer, because yesterday using the invisibility cloak Ginny broke into Snape’s cabinet with the help of some Fred & George’s magic tools, and got the necessary ingredients to cook the obcessivus potion which later that night Ginny poured some of the potion in that jug, her plan was to make Lavender obsessed with her, Hermione, Luna and Cho Chang, she wanted to teach Lavender a lesson.
“He is really taking too long!” Lavender complained while she took a sip from the butter beer.
“I’m sure they will arrive at any minute” Ginny said and drank the beer, which she only did because she processed the antidote which Snape had taught how to make, and the antidote wasn’t illegal, but although the potion would only take effect three hours after drinking it, the antidote would have to be taken half an hour after drinking the potion, so Ginny would have to give an excuse to leave in half an hour, or else she would also become completely obsessed with her friends.
Twenty five minutes after they had started drinking the beer, Cho and Luna showed up but they weren’t supposed to wasn’t to, this would just interfere with Ginny’s plan.
“Hey! Can we join you?” Luna and Cho asked and they both took a seat, and Ginny was so worried about drinking the antidote that she forgot the jar was in the table and nobody but Ginny and Lavender could drink it.
“I need to use the bathroom!” Ginny said, and quickly left the table heading for the bathroom, but she stopped when she saw Ron and Hermione enter the bar, and her main objective now was to not let Lavender ruin it all between him and Hermione because of an obcessivus potion, so she went back to the table risking it all to stop her brother from dinking anything, there were only five minutes left for her to take the antidote, if she didn’t drink it she would be forever obsessed with her friends.
“Finally he arrived! Hey we’re here!” Lavender called Ron, and Hermione, and although she saw him hanging out with Hermione she didn’t care because after making Ron drink the potion he would be forever hers just like she desired.
“Bring another jug!” Lavender told her friend Parvati Patil who worked there at the three broomsticks, Parvati poured a bottle of obcessivus potion into the butter beer jug just like Lavender had asked her yesterday, although Lavender’s original plan didn’t include getting everyone obsessed by her, she didn’t care it everyone drank it as long as Ron did.
“What? It’s finished already?” Ginny asked worried because she had gotten distracted thinking about how to drink the antidote without getting noticed, and only now she realized that everyone had drunk from the butter beer jug except for Ron, because Hermione drank the last of it.
“What am I going to do now? If I tell them that I poured the obcessivus potion in the butter beer jug, they would all kill me, but they would probably be in time to take the antidote, but to cook enough antidote for all of them I would need ingredients, which I would have to ask Snape but he couldn’t dream that I had cooked the potion, because if he did I would be expelled for sure.” Ginny asked herself while everyone was chatting around the table.
Parvati brought the jug placing it on the hard wooden table, and Ginny was now even more worried, she had to stop her brother from drinking it at all costs, she thought of breaking the jar, but Parvati filled up every glass which made it harder for Ginny, she couldn’t just break all the glasses by accident.
While they all talked happily about future projects and dreams Ginny figured that her time to drink the antidote was up and that now she couldn’t do anything to stop the effect so she focused on her brother, who she was still in time to save, she also figured that the jar must’ve been filled with potion to become obsessed about Lavender, and she would like to also save her friends but family comes first so she only tried to save Ron.
The cups were filled with beer, and the jug was empty and Ginny had a great idea to stop Ron from drinking it, she proposed a toast, and they all raised their glasses wishing for prosperity and for their dreams to come true.
When Ron was about to wrap his lips around his glass to take a sip of the beer, when he was really about to drink it Ginny fell, knocking her brother on the floor, and the cup flew through the air and broke as it landed on the floor, neither Ron nor Ginny got hurt, but Ginny got what she wanted.
“Hey Ron, you didn’t get to drink, here you can drink this one!” Lavender said offering her glass to Ron.
“No, it’s not necessary that one, was probably warm already. I want a bottle of butter beer!” Ron shouted, asking the waitress to give him some more beer.
Nothing ended like neither of them had planned, the happy expression on Ginny’s face was transformed into a fear expression, and Lavender’s turned into an angry expression.
After some minutes they all parted ways, Ron went on a date with Hermione, Cho continued hanging around with Luna, and Ginny and Luna were the only ones that returned to the castle, and on their way there neither of them said a word.

“No. do you want to hang out with me?” Ginny asked, although she hadn’t drunken Lavender’s obcessivus potion Ginny had been starting to love women, her “inner lesbian had awakened, but she could see that Lavender was already under the effects of the potion.
“Yeah, sure!” Lavender answered excitedly.
“C’mon I want to show you show you something.” Ginny said, dragging Lavender to the room of requirements where she thought of the word lust and entered the huge door that emerged from the wall.
Holding Lavender buy the hand Ginny quickly dragged her to the bedroom, they walked in the nicely decorated bedroom and without asking for permission or even hesitating Lavender kissed Ginny hard on the lips, and waited for her reaction.
